10 day late period : I know the brown discharge is old blood and I know this is sometimes normal but i'll explain. I have been on birthcontrol for about 2 yrs now and my periods have been pretty regular. My last period was a week or more late and after my period for the last 10 days or so ive had the brown discharge. I had a pap test a month ago and all was fine with that. Also I did douche to try and get rid of it. It did help alot and I thought it stopped but now its back but not as much. What do you think?

I quit taking the pill for 4 months while he was gone and when I found out he was coming home on leave I started taking the pill. So my last "actual" period was 9/23/07. Since he was home and we were planning to go out of town, I tried to "skip" my period by skipping my sugar pills and starting another pack.
