18 weeks pregnant pain on left side : The pain is killing me, and it's so frustrating to type, hold the phone, and sleep on my side. It's so tough and frustrating. Can anyone offer an explanation and advice on how to comfort/remove the pain?

18 weeks pregnant pain on left side : I'm 18 weeks pregnant with my first child. Earlier today I was having some dull aches in my stomach and left side, nothing unbearable just uncomfortable. I'm having really sharp pains in my left side, and I'm not sure what kind of pains these would be. Does anyone have any idea? I'm not cramping, I'm not spotting or bleeding. It's just a stabbing pain. Is there something I can do for it? My ob appointment is tomorrow, I just need to know if this is something that I should worry about.
