22 week old fetus : I am 22 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Im 22 years old..and this is my second pregnancy. Today I had an ultrasound and the doctor said that the baby has "prominate gallbladder" and that I might have alot of atomic fluid. Im getting really worried about his. I have had my blood work done about a month and a half ago and it came in normal. My first pregnancy was normal and I have a normal son. What does this mean and what can I do? thank

22 week old fetus : my cousin just found out today that she has a tumor the size of a golf ball inside her falopian tube. She is 24 weeks pregnant. the dr. told her that if she does the surgery, there is a chance that the baby will die. and, if she does not have the surgery, it could burst and kill her. she is torn and i am wondering if at 24 weeks (6 months) what would be the probability of her having a c section and the baby surviving? 22 week old fetus : Where I live there is no criminal law limiting abortion at any point during a pregnancy. You will probably not find a clinic, doctor or hospital willing to do one after a certain time but abortion at any point of the pregnancy is not a criminal offence. (quite accessable until around 24 wks) They are paid for by the government no matter the cost--late term abortions are more expensive. Babies born at 24 weeks can survive with care. (I know of a couple of those one is now a healthy 14 yrs old.)
