23 week old fetus : I have a hypothetical question. Everytime ive heard the heartbeat it has always has been strong and fast. There are no chromosomal abnormalities with the baby ( ive had testing done). Ive had my last ultrasound at 13 weeks and everything looked good..the baby was said to be developing properly and at the right pace. It was even moving alittle. I am 23 years old and i don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. What are my chances of the baby dying now??

23 week old fetus : I have a friend who has been telling us she is pregnant, she went for a termination and the hospital removed one baby, she has said there was another very small baby there that they have left?? would this baby survive??

23 week old fetus : 23 weeks pregnant:The blood tests showed signs of Down's. Then Amnio showed signs of of Down's. However, when the ultra sound was done, the results showed "normal" baby. Dr. stated that the older the baby gets, the less likely the baby is to show physical characteristics of Down's. Why wouldn't it be that the older the fetus(baby) - the more prevalent the physical signs of Down's be present? If you can determine through testing the small ears, shorter arms, legs, upward slant on eyes - why at

23 week old fetus : I'm 24 years old and have 1 daughter that will be 3 on Dec. 23. I conceived last Dec. but miscarried @ 8 wks.(the fetus stopped dev. and reabsorbed) in Jan. I had a d&c done and was told I could start trying in April, so I did. I've been having my period every month but now I'm 3 weeks late. I've taken about 4 preg. tests in those 3 wks. and they all say neg. Has anyone had a similar situation? If so, did you go to dr. for preg. test and what happened?
