38 weeks labor : I have been in labor since Monday at 6 pm and I am stuck at 3 centimeters, 80% and a -3 station...what can I do to get my cervix to dialate more? I have tried walking, and sex. But I am so exhausted that I don't have much to give anymore...any ideas? we will b 38 weeks Friday.

38 weeks labor : Well I am 38 weeks as of yesterday in my first pregnancy, lost my mucous plug 3 days ago (or at least some of it) and I am 2 cm dialated. 38 weeks labor : I am having sharp pulsing lower back pain where my waist used to be, It radiates up my side and up into my neck. They are not consistant and vary in intensity, though I have been getting more everyday. Last week, I would get about 5 a day, lasting up to 30 seconds. but now I get about 2-3 and hour, but with no consistancy. Is this back labor? No other real signs of labor, though. 38 weeks labor : Ok, I am 38 weeks today, and was talking to my OB the other day. I told him that I don't want to rush the baby, but I don't want to go past April 15th, either, my due date. So, I have two weeks. I told him that if I don't go into labor by the 15th, then I would like to be induced and he said as long as everyone seems healthy and my cervix is "favorable" then he will. In the middle of the night last night i went to pee and noticed clear discharge from my vagina when i wiped and it was enough to kind of drip alittle then this morning when i woke up and peed again i had some more clear discharge. Could this be amniotic fluid? It had a little elasticity to it but not too much and my discharge is usually kind of white but this didn't seem to be...i need some advice. My midwife put me on bedrest due to slightly high blood pressure and I'm having a stress test tomorrow afternoon. Being as close as I am, and with the docs telling me for the last week that I'd be going into labor any moment, bedrest has not helped, but has really just stressed me out more.
