38 weeks pregnant signs labour : i'm 38 weeks pregnant with second baby and at antenatal appointment on Wednesday baby was 4/5 engaged, i had some diarrohea yesterday along with some back pain and contractions which stopped and today i have been to the loo for a number 2 about 12 times and am having lots of watery discharge, anyone else had this and how long after did labour start?? I'm really fed up waiting now!!!! Thanks in advance!!! xxx Don't know the sex, had 5 scans cos at every scan they couldn't get a correct measurem

38 weeks pregnant signs labour : I'm 38 weeks pregnant and all day have felt like i needed a poo.....(please excuse me) anyway massive pressure in pelvic area and back passage and a little while ago had diahorrea(again sorry!!) and now having mild back pain, anyone had this as a sign of labour?? This is second baby and can't remember any of this, also feel hyper and really happy when i've been really grumpy lately!!!! Thanks xxxx

38 weeks pregnant signs labour : I have a dull ache in my back and draggin hips, i have lots more clear discharge, i have tightness across my belly actually its all over, the baby has dropped a few weeks ago which makes the pressure unbearable does anybody have a crystal ball could you tell me when i would likely to go into labour this is my 4th baby and last!!! I also feel sick oh i have had diahorrea any ideas??? The thing is i was induced with my last 2 so i am not sure of the symptoms plus i have them on and off for days

38 weeks pregnant signs labour : Im about 38 weeks pregnant, a week ago i lost my mucous plug and was 1 1/2 cm dialated. I also had started having braxton hicks about a week ago. Now I am experiencing bad cramps, the runs, back pain; however, my water has not broke. Could I be in early labour?

38 weeks pregnant signs labour : My sister is 38 weeks pregnant and today i took her to get a nursing bra and shes been getting these pains in her bum. She said it feels like she needs a poo but doesnt and it really hurts all of a sudden! Do you think labour might start soon? She also had a really bad branston hicks and she tried to sit down and she shot up shouting because it just made it worse! Anyone else have any ideas? It happened today when we were walking around the shopping centre. She also had to go to the toilet

38 weeks pregnant signs labour : Im 38 weeks pregnant, and have a big baby, doctors want to induce me next week. Had a sweep done today ( ho the joys of being a women) and since then I have had brown discharge. Is this normal, doctor said I was 2cm dilated. Not getting sign of labour. Just wonderd if the discharge is normal, its not huge amounts just a little when I go the the bathroom. Any advice would help? had this done 3 times with my first pregnancy but had not discharge.

38 weeks pregnant signs labour : I'm 38 weeks pregnant and have been having sharp shocks down low for a few days, they come suddenly and make my hands and arms go numb. My babys head is engaged and I'm wondering if it's dropped lower down (I have a check up on Thursday) Also today I could hardly walk because I felt like I was desperate for the toilet and when I went it was just a trickle! 38 weeks pregnant signs labour : I'm nearly 38 weeks pregnant and for the past 3 days I've been getting awful cramps, like menstrual cramps in my tummy, I have got a lot of mucousy discharge as well but its not got blood in it and I thought if it was the mucous plug it would have blood in it! The cramps I get aren't regular just now and then throughout the day and I get a few at night, not cramps that could be timed because they are so far apart! Do you think anything might happen soon? XXX

38 weeks pregnant signs labour : 9 days ago, I went into hospital with regular contractions, lost my bloody show & was told I was 4cm dilated. Since then I've had one night of bad contractions but nothing else other than bad pelvic pressure as Baby has become engaged. In the last 2 days I've had a very sore tummy & backache, mainly where my ribs are. It is a dull ache. It really hurts, and because of the circumstance i know it is not the beginning of labour, am 38+6 weeks pregnant (and she iain't making no sign of coming anytime soon! Question is what should i do, rest lots or try to exercise it out??? Won't see my midwife until Thursday but it is very uncomfortable and i don't want ot make it any worse. At this stage i can't lie on my back. Anyone had back pain, unrelated to pregnancy, while pregnant.

And sorry to say this but it is quite soft when i go and ive also had a bit of diarhhea too but its not completly runny yet though. I did empty my bowels with my other 2 the same night i was in labour, but this time i havent had any contractions yet, whereas last time i got the contractions first. Could this still be a sign that im going into labour? and how soon can

For no reason I just had a full break down, just coz i put on a bit f weight (10 kilos in 38 weeks) and it lasted for ages. I dont know whats up, nor do i know the signs and symptoms of upcoming labour, so just thought i would ask. could the 2 be connected? Its not the weight gain that is making me ask, its the moodiness for no good reason.
