39 weeks pregnant 2 centimeters dilated : I have been to labor and delivery 5 times since January 23rd with similar feeling contractions. Each time they sent me home because my contractions weren't doing anything to dilate my cervix. I am 3 centimeters (And have been for some time now). The ONLY reason they kept sending me home was because I wasn't 39 weeks (which is when they are able to help induce). I am scheduled to be induced on the 16th if nothing happens but I am having really painful contractions. I am afraid that if I go in

I am 2-3 centimeters dilated, and she says my cervix is beginning to soften. 39 weeks pregnant 2 centimeters dilated : I am 38 weeks and 5 days pregnant. When I went in at 37 weeks I was 1/2 centimeter. When I went in at 38 weeks I was up to one. It's my first baby and I've been having cramps and really bad pains that come every 2 minutes and last about 2 minutes for hours every night for a week.
