39 weeks pregnant : i am in a wedding Sept. 7th, and my due date is Sept. 2nd. I have to have a c section, so i will probably have that done as early as i can which will be at 38 1/2- 39 weeks, that is IF i dont go into unstoppable labor before hand....because i had preterm labor with my daughter. And I try to and I even tried getting up early so I could go to sleep later and I end up sleeping for an hour or 2 and waking up and then not being able to go back to sleep. Is this common? My friend said the exact same thing happened to her and she went into labor the same night they stripped her membranes. Is it common for women to go into labor the same night they get their membranes stripped? Or at least within 2 or 3 days of getting your membranes stripped?

After a call to the doctor, he said for her to go home and he would see her tomorrow. Isn't this too high?
