40 weeks contractions cramping : I am 40 weeks pregnant today, and I have been having some really uncomfortable back pain that starts and stop..... not consistent enough for me to time, but when they do come, they are really painful, some what like menstrual cramps. My doctor scrapped my membrane at 39 weeks (dr. said this would increase chance of labor by 50%), and at 40 weeks, my stomach measured at 38 b/c my stomach has dropped. However...still no baby.
